The VLuxe of Lithonia

The entire second floor was hotter than hades. The twin beds in the second bedroom are hard and you WILL stub your toes on the bed legs. Add to the fact that there were zero toiletries tub the house and a plate of half eaten plate of food in an upstairs closet the downstairs barely had any registers so downstairs stairs cooler. Overall the sleep was very uncomfortable but the location was in the middle of what we wanted to do.

well when we arrive I was given the wrong door code then we got settled i looked in the closet and there was a plate of spaghetti in there like I literally can't make this up the dishes in the dishwasher was dirty we got in bed and during what I thought was a intimate time for me and my husband we had bed bugs crawling on us I wish I could upload the picture we took of it. then when I reached out they tell me they fired the cleaning person and they never had no complaints of bed bugs like I was lying about then they offer me money off my $404 stay and refunded me $30 and 15% discount like I would ever book with them again after my stay me and my kids got bit up and they took it very lightly and I not okwith that 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMENDED

The home was very accommodating and there was an issue that was handled most promptly by the host which wr truly truly appreciated! Looking forward to our return trip

I wanted to host Christmas for my family, even though I don't live in Georgia. It was a sweet reminder of simpler times in my hometown of Lithonia. Perfect spot to build a happy new family memory.

It was exactly as described.

Private peaceful home. Even when we locked ourselves out of the home on a Sunday afternoon the host response was quick and got us back into the home while we out on an outing.

I recommend the house, good place, nice Host ☆☆☆☆☆

Best place I’ve been too

The place was clean and the area was quiet. The host was great with communication and instructions. Could use some updating on the carpet and wall paint. Overall the stay was good.

Pros: really soft and comfy beds, plenty of towels (found in the dryer), large TV in living room, washer and dryer in unitCons: didn’t receive code for front door until I called the owner 5x (voicemail was full) and messaged VRBO asking for it on Friday night when we arrived. He called back Sunday to see why we called. Paint was peeling on walls. It definitely wasn’t cleaned properly before we checked in (clothing stickers on the walls and tinsel all over the floor). Front screen door was broken and wouldn’t close. Not the best neighborhood (mattress laying in the street for 2 days, loud noises at night)

very quiet neighborhood, close to gas stations and grocery store. I had no issues.

Upon arrival the unit looked fine. But the longer we were there the first night issues started to mount:1) Unit was supposed to provide toilet tissue. It was a 2.5 bath unit but in the entire unit there was one partial roll of toilet tissue. We had to buy our own.2) Unit was supposed to provide kitchen paper towels. There were none. We had to buy our own.3) The kitchen sink was empty when we arrived, but when I ran water in the sink it would not drain. We had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink (gross!)4) The refrigerator was missing the light bulb in it.5) The stove/range vent hood was missing the light bulb.6) The A/C upstairs was set to 80 when we arrived, and it took until the next morning to cool down to 70.7) The upstairs TV remote control had no batteries.8) When I tried to turn a lamp on in the Living Room the cord that was plugged into the wall shorted out, sparked, left a burn mark on the carpet, and came apart. I had to unplug the live wire then sparking and popping before one of our grandchildren touched it.9) The kitchen is stocked with poor quality cookware.10) Three days after we left the owner texted me a picture of where some wallpaper was torn from the wall, but I did a walk-though before we exited, and the wall was not in that condition when we left.The owner was easy to contact during our stay, but there was no resolution to any of the issues we had. I would not recommend this property.

Michael was very responsive, the place was clean and we felt right at home. Peaceful neighborhood.

Ok let me get started on how nice this place looks. It’s just like the photos. The place was nice, clean, has a great smell to it and very spacious. Michael was a nice host. The place had everything my family and I needed. I would definitely recommend this place to others and I will also book this place again in the future. Thanks Michael we enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave. We felt at home, such a beautiful place.

This was our first Vrbo experience. The home was as described, it was comfortable. Communication with host was good as well. It is a well loved townhome and could use a bit of TLC, but overall it was a pleasant experience for the price.

I enjoyed my stay here. The neighborhood was quiet. It looks safe. I had no problems I got in and out with no problem. Everything was clean. I’d stay here again.

Nice lil spot

We did appreciate the roominess of the home. The location of the home served us well with getting to and from both Atlanta & Covington daily. The water pressure in the showers was good. There were inaccuracies with the listing that were disappointing to us, such as lack of a blackout curtains, hangers, a hairdryer, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand towels, enough body towels, and key to use the fireplace. There was also no fitted sheet on the bed in the primary suite. A washer & dryer was present in the home, but only bleach was provided to use. The home is need of upkeep and if you are particular about stains on the floors and walls, this is not the airbnb for you. The fence around the home is also in need of repair. While Michael did respond to my concerns, he only did so only to thank me for my concerns and tell me he would address them. He offered a discounted stay for the future if we decided to return, but didn't offer to bring any missing items or compensate me.

The stay was overall great! The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The space was large and perfect for 5 people. The 2.5 bathrooms were definitely a life saver. It is a 25-30 minute drive to Atlanta. This is minor but I do wish there were same amount of bath amenities offered in both bathrooms, such as shampoo, body soap, and hair dryers.

Good home, just need updating in some areas!

A bit of upkeep/maintenance is needed on the place to really make it enjoyable. It is less luxury and more bachelor pad. Definitely a home that was lived in hard and minimally made over into an airbnb. Stains on all the walls and carpet, no touches of home, no tissues or napkins no hand towels, the soap is watered down. Twin mattresses have plastic on them for some reason. Backyard fence is broken will pieces laying there. Minimal cooking supplies. It got the job done for about the cost of a cheap hotel.

Great place to stay close to many food options and not too far from the city. Will return again in the future.

This place was a great location Lithonia. It was clean. It did have a flight of stairs to get to the bedrooms.

10/10 Must book again! I️ loved this home, and Michael was fast on communicating back. Beautiful and spacious area.

He was so helpful. I had locked myself out of the house. And he was able to come up with an idea. And no wait time or trying to find him. He answered my phone quickly no hesitation… and his house was very homie like.

I enjoyed my peaceful and quiet time and I felt at home. I would stay here again anytime.

I stay at Neicy's property and it was really great our stay, she is really nice host., The neighborhood is really peaceful and quiet.

Neicy is nice and friendly. I would recommend! Her cleaning crew forgot to take out the trash and she got right on it.
